When it comes to Bruce Li, I have seen a few of his movies. He made a lot of them that I have never seen. He was the new Bruce Lee after Bruce Lee died. Seeing Bruce Li as a child kept the Legacy of Bruce Lee alive for me. I did not understand or even recognize that he was not as good as Bruce Lee. I did not recognize that he was a look alike. When it was explained to me that he was not the real Bruce Lee, I still enjoyed the Bruce Li movies. I was calling Bruce Li Bruce Lee, but I can remember that only one of  Bruce Li movies did not hold my attention. I do not remember which one it was. Back then, it seemed as if everybody was named Bruce Li. I began to loose interest and was hungry for real Bruce Lee action. I could sense something was missing and something was different than what I had seen before and what I barely remembered. I started to notice that the real Bruce Lee was gone. The movie that I remember most from Bruce Li is "Bruce Lee_The Man, The Myth". I remember asking, "Mama, Daddy, Bruce Lee is dead?"

My mama said, "Yea, baby. He died."

I really didn't understand that Bruce Lee was gone still because I was still seeing a man in movies that looked like Bruce Lee. When you are a child, you can be very confused about things that go on around you. Bruce Lee died in 1973, and I was born in 1971. I remember Bruce Li the most, but because my mother and father were Bruce Lee fans, I was taught the name Bruce Lee. As I watched Bruce Lee when I was older, I could see all that I could not remember well as a child. I remember my parents taking me to the movies to see Bruce Lee. I remember being anxious to get in a long line before movie tickets ran out, and I remember lots of action. I understood that there was a lot of fighting, and waiting to see who would win. I remember hand claps and cheers from the audience along the way while watching Bruce Lee movies at the theaters. It had to be Bruce Lee movies. I remember only that much.

Bruce Lee - Godhead or Not?

What is God-head: (Acts 17:29)  Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

To tell you the truth, I do not believe that Bruce Lee was sure about God. It seemed he was always searching and thinking. It is said that when asked by journalist Alex Ben Block in the summer of 1972 what his religious affiliation was, Lee answered: 'None whatsoever.' When he was asked if he believed in God, he said: 'To be perfectly frank, I really do not.' However, it took him a little while before he answered. See it here in the video: Bruce was very young. He experienced a lot of things and was always trying to put things together. He studied a lot of philosophy and books. Some things just don't mix and things can get confusing. It's alright to learn about different things, but God is something that we should be sure of and learn about. It is not for me to explain whether God might have accepted him or not. But I do believe that God gave Bruce a chance to see that there is a God. I believe that Bruce wanted to know. He said that he felt a great force and untapped power. I believe that it was God because of the way Bruce described the force. The way Bruce described the force sounds just like God. I know that it was a feeling that might have felt good to Bruce. Knowing Bruce Lee, he wanted to find out about that force. I believe that in the end, he accepted God before he took his last breath. I feel something within me too that Bruce might have made it.

Bruce Lee - King and Priest of Kung Fu

To me, Bruce Lee is a king and priest of Kung Fu. He was a man that could have had many titles. Bruce knew more than one style in Kung Fu and combined them all. He kept on learning and kept on combining. There was no end to it. Bruce kept moving higher and higher which made him above all in Kung Fu.

Bruce also was a philosophy man. That made him more than king. To me, philosophy was Bruce Lee’s highest form of Kung Fu. I think that philosophy made him a priest. So he is a king and a priest. Many call him the dragon and the master of Kung Fu. I do not think anyone has named him the king or priest of Kung Fu, but that is how I see him.

Looks like Shannon has accomplished what she wanted people to see in her new documentary, I Am Bruce Lee.   The documentary helps you to see Bruce Lee's philosophy and the meaning behind what he was trying to say to the world. I have not seen the film, but it seems to take you more to the truth about Bruce because everybody seems to have their own story and version of him. A lot of us did not know anything about him as far as who he really was as a person. We watched his movies and movies that were made about his life that may not have been totally true. You know how Hollywood is. Movie makers love fantasy and money. People have been misled about things that have not been true. We have been fed lies and junk, but in Shannon Lee's documentary, you get to see more of what is true and educational.

It's time for a commercial break. Check out Levi's Kung Fu with the Bruce Lee style. Everybody loves Bruce Lee. People still think of him in their projects. I think that is a good thing. It shows how much people really did love Bruce Lee and the legacy of Bruce Lee goes on. Yes, people imitate. Nothing wrong with that. All we have are memories. What good would the legacy be without memories? We act him out, tell the Bruce Lee stories, and hand it down to the next generation. Let Bruce Lee live in your heart if that's the way you want it to be. Bruce Lee said, "Walk On!"
